I want to live in a world like this. Do you?

I want to live in a world like this; where there is no poverty or hunger, where good health and wellbeing is possible for all, where you can get a quality education and there is gender equality. I want to live in a world like this; where there is clean water and sanitation for everyone, where we can access affordable and clean energy and save our planet. I want to live in a world like this….

The Global Goals

I believe our voices can change the world. I believe that if we as individuals and as nations work together to achieve these goals then they will be possible.

If the goals are going to work, everyone needs to know about them. You can’t fight for your rights if you don’t know what they are. You can’t convince world leaders to do what needs to be done if you don’t know what you’re convincing them to do. It’s the same wherever you are in the world.

GlobalGoals.org

There are 17 Goals for 7 Billion People. Find out what’s going on around the world and decide how you are going to help. These goals are for everyone, everywhere.

Michael Green explains in his recent TedTalk how these 17 Goals have been converted into a Social Progress Index for every nation on the planet. There is a commitment to communicate how every country is doing every year on that Social Progress Index so that we can move it forward. It’s possible – but we need to change how we do business and live our lives right now.  Economic Growth alone will not achieve these 17 Goals.

Visit Global Goals 2015 and see how you can play your part. Join the voices and support the change.
